Eligibility Requirements
If a family wants to participate in the HCV program, they must either be selected from the waiting list or porting from another Housing Authority.
The family must:
Be a family, this includes a single family member
At least one member must be a citizen or have eligible immigration status, even if the member is the minor
Disclose and provide verification of Social Security Numbers
Family income must not exceed Income limits established by HUD
Family must not have engaged in certain criminal activity
Once it has been determined that you are eligible, you will be required to attend a briefing session where you will be given information about how the program works, your responsibilities while participating in the program, and receive the documents you will need to begin searching for a unit.
